Minimum Wage Australia 2024 Casual. The current national minimum wage for casuals is $24.10 per hour or $915.90 per 38 hour week (before tax), plus 25% casual loading. Casual employees entitled to the national minimum wage must receive a minimum $30.13 per hour, which includes 25 per cent casual loading.
The fair work commission (fwc) released the results of the 2024 annual wage review today, announcing that all modern award minimum wage rates will increase by 3.75. The national minimum wage was last increased on 1 july 2024.
